Second Shooter runs on the Stories collection, which the Blog Import plugin fills from your old blog.
Bring your blog in
The 12 stories you see are samples. Five steps replace them with yours.
1. Install Blog Import from the Framer Marketplace.
2. Open the CMS, select the Stories collection and click Manage above the table. Blog Import opens on it.
3. Choose your export file (WordPress, Squarespace, Ghost, Medium or Blogger) or type your WordPress address.
4. Pick "2 collections, Blog and categories" so every story keeps its category. Tick "Remove the 12 posts already in this collection" so the samples go.
5. Publish. The home page lists your newest stories, and every story gets its own page at /stories and its slug.
Captions come in as an italic line right under each photo, and every photo keeps its alt text. The Caption style in Assets is made for that line. Use the latest version of Blog Import so captions are not dropped.
The enquiry form sends nowhere until you set Send to. Click the form on the page, find Send to in the right panel and enter your email address. Do this on every page that has the form.
Colours and type are styles in Assets, under Second Shooter, each with a light and a dark value. Change the accent in one place, Second Shooter/Accent. The sample photos are from Pexels, with the photographer credited at the end of each story; the stories and the people in them are illustrative.
